JQ likes to read book since he is small. I started to let him read book since he is only 3 months old ;p nah, not i kia-su (hokkien), but just wish to let him build up his interest in studying.
I never force him to remember words. I just let him read picture books. I will read every page of the picture book with him. His first picture book is red in color, with a frog toy on the cover. All the picture inside is toys.
When he was about 9months, when u asked him where is car, he will flip the page and sais 'neh'....so cute! Of course, he still knew others la, like drum, hello (means telephone), balls etc. Clever boy.
Of course, he not only has one book. When he was one year old, few kai-ma of JQ baught him two books. One big book regarding Disney. But as this book was paper, so, after few months, being torn by JQ ;p
Another book that given by kai-ma was a picture book as well. JQ loves to read that book as well. At first, when he read that book (read alone), he will laugh loudly, we can't understand why he laugh....but he laugh till very 'gan' (in cantonese) but happy ;p we tried to record video for this, but he didn't no want to laugh any more....naughty boy
I do have baught few others book to JQ. Almost every night, i will read for him. But, sometimes, if i lazy, and did not take initiative to read, he will tell me book-book. Now he growth up, he will say : Mama, yao kan ah, kan book-book ah (means mama, want to read book).
Oh ya, one very important part when JQ reading! He must sit on your leg (dai bei in cantonese). He will bring the book to you, then say : Cjo-cho ah (means sit), and then sit on your leg! if you don't let him sit, he will cry. Haha...coz when he was small, i always put him on my leg and read for him... ;p until today, he still wants to sleep on my leg or close to my body before we start to read book :)
Hope JQ loves to read book next time. I am not wishing him to get 100 marks in his study, but wish him loves to read books....anyway, not comics or those unhealthy books la. Because of this, i already registered myself for a 3 days classes, so that i can learn to choose correct book to JQ, and can build his interest to books :) hehe...actually i wish to attend this kind of class even before i get married la, just no chance....since now got chance, and the objective more clear now, even better :)
Yeah, my first class will be on JQ's birthday...but will rush back to celebrate for him. Maybe can buy books as his birthday present :) Oops no, i promised him to buy guitar, coz lately he loves guitar...hmm, nevermind, buy both la ;p

JQ likes to draw...
JQ likes to draw. I had given him a book, and a pen. Actually he will just take what ever pens he can find on the table or he can get...
Of course he doesn't know to draw any thing yet. But he will draw lines lor...
And, he likes someone to accompany him when he draw. He will ask us to 'Hua-Shou' (means draw hand), then we have to put his hand on the paper, then draw follow his hand ;p
And, he will also ask you to draw a lot of things for him....eg Jia Qing. Means ask you to write his name. Then he will said Ming Zi (means his name)
Normally, he will ask us to draw Star, Moon, Sun, Fish, Mickey, Turtle, Bear Bear Xiong (means bear), BaBa Mama(means draw Kelvin and I, normally we draw simple,like stick man ;p). He will say : Mama, Hua Star. After you draw, then he will take back the pen then less than 1 second, he will say : Mama, Hua Moon. So, actually we are doing the drawing, not him ;p but after u draw, sometimes, he will take back the pen then conteng on your drawing, then he said 'Boh' (means no more)....kakakkakak....naughty boy!

I love to Hug JQ
i really love to hug JQ....very comfortable, he is just like a comfortable pillow...
I carried and hug others baby and kids before, but i think JQ is the best pillow ;p
Especially inside the car, when he sit on me. Fuh-Yoh, i really feel that his body shape and weight is really just nice! So comfortable when i hug him! But if carried him to walk around, now i start to be beh-tahan d....JQ almost 15kg now.... ;p
And, if we asked him to give us a big hug, he will really hug us tightly...so warm and sweet...i love it! :)
sometimes, i really don't feel like want to let him go after i hug him... ;p haha...sometimes, i do worry whether i hug him too 'strong', till his bone broken...
if he fell down, then he will come to me then hug me too....pity boy! But so sweet...

JQ said I Love U to me during my birthday (year 2010)! So sweet! Of course, Kelvin taught him la... :)

Sleeping time...dig dig dig...
This is a very bad habit of JQ. According to my mother-in-law, this is exactly same as Kelvin last time! Means, this is bad gen from Kelvin! ;p
In the afternoon, he still ok. JQ will sleep in 'sarung'. But since he born, he doesn't like sunlight when he sleeping. So, we have to make sure his eyes being 'blocked' from sunlight. Normally will use pillow, his Mickey toy or bolster to block the sunlight. Else, he cannot sleep.
Even at night, if we switch on light, or the light from outside is too bright, he also cannot sleep...
Oh, back to the topic ;p at night, when he sleep, he like to dig dig dig....dig what? Don't know!
He will sleep at the middle of Kelvin and I if we overnight in my in-law house. And, when JQ still small, we also let him slept middle of us, coz he always have bad dream, and will yi-yi-oh-oh in the midnight, so, in order not to be too tired (coz we working), we let him slept middle of us.
If he sleep middle of us, his hand will keep on dig dig dig...when we all sleep on the bed, he will turn his body one side and will either look at me or Kelvin. Then, his hand will start to dig into our face (between our face and pillow that we slept on) or our body, till he found a 'comfortable' position, then only he will stop and fall asleep...so weird....akakkakkaka....
But i still feel cute la...i don't really understand why he will do so, since about 4months old...i think maybe he lack of on-qun-gam (cantonese, means he lack of safety feeling, don't know correct terms or not ;p). So, he wants to make sure someone sleep together or next to him. So, if his hand is 'under' someone, then he will will safe and can sleep...
Eh, it is very pain when he dig like this! Coz JQ finger nails are just like his dad! Very sharp! So, you will feel pain. But when he stop digging, then will feel good to have a small cute hand under your face la... ;p hehe...but this is not good la, coz then without us, then he cannot sleep ;p and, may affect his independent in life...
Of course, now JQ growth up, we let him slept alone. Before i let him sleep alone, i 'train' him not to dig anymore. If want to dig, dig under the pillow, not my face. And, i will stop him from digging my face if he does so, and he will stop immediately when i said "JQ, don't dig Mama face, Mama very pain". But after some times, he will 'touch' me again. Touch not dig...akakkakakkak...of course i will stop him again.
So, now, he can sleep alone at the bed next to us. Slowly, i will let him sleep alone...

JQ in playground...
(JQ like to spin this in playground. He will say Zhuan-Zhuan oh)
JQ loves to go playground.
When he knows how to walk (about 15months old, only JQ knows how to walk), every evening, after he taking bath and having is dinner, he will ask he grandma to bring him to see ‘ball-ball’ or walk-walk. Coz in the playground (where my in-law staying), there is a basketball court beside the playground.
Actually even before he knows to walk, he will ask us to bring him to playground too. He will smile happily, if he knows that we going to bring him to playground.
He likes to sit the swing. But only for few minutes…
he will keep on asking us to change…all he played for less than 5minutes. So, it is not an easy task to bring JQ to playground, especially before he can walk properly…coz we have to carry him to different toy in the playground. Swing, slide, ‘zhuan-zhuan’ (means turn in mandarin. There are some blocks that can be turned), etc….we will keep changing.

Every time when he wants to change, we will point to something he wants to play, and said ‘na-ge’ (means ‘that one’ in mandarin). Oh, before he knew how to say na-ge, he will point it and said ng-ng-ng…. ;p
And, after play in playground, he doesn’t want to go home. Every time, we have to take some time to pujuk him to go home, else he will cry. We have to say we going to gai-gai (shopping or go others place) later, go back to mum-mum, or say the sky is an-an (dark), then only he willing to go back. But still sometimes, he will cry, coz don’t want to go home. But lately, he is much better, coz grow up d mah, so he will go back after we said we promised to bring him to playground next time.
Oh, you know what? When we going back, he will say bye-bye to all the toy….bye-bye yao-yao (swing), bye-bye zhuan-zhuan….hahahhaha….even we go restaurant for lunch/dinner, sometimes, he will say bye-bye mum-mum…. Akakakkakkaka……
Oh, one more thing, if i was there in the playground, he only wants me to play with him. Others cannot. I also don't know i should happy and what. Happy coz he loves to play with me, but means i will be very tired too...but now much better d. He can play alone or let others to look after him.
Oh, another thing, in the playground, there are others kids. Some kids will bring theri bycycle ot tricycle along. JQ will want to 'play'. Not to sit on it, but want us to turn the tricycle, so that he can turn the wheel!! hahahhaha....actually even at home, he has a lot of car toys and walkers, he likes to play the wheels only (turn the wheels).....hahahha....don't know why, JQ just likes to spin. Anything toys that can spin, he will love them.....he will say zhuan-zhuan happily....hahahhaha....

First time oversea - Singapore
Yeah, JQ first oversea trip was Singapore!
When JQ was 4 months old, we decided to bring him to visit his Yi-Po in Johor (Leng-Yee) during the Raya holiday (around Oct 2008). Hmm...i don't have his photo taken for his passport when he was 3 months old, he was a fat boy but super cute... ;p
when we visited Singapore, as JQ was still too small, so don't really much cute thing happened. I will attach Kelvin photo later, where Kelvin carried JQ using the carrier :)
Oh, one thing! Almost forgot this! Before this Singapore trip, JQ seldom 'speak', i mean he seldom made sound, coz he still small mah. But when he reached Singapore, suddenly, he can 'scream'...how he scream, below video is an example :)
When we came back from Singapore and dinner in Seremban, JQ showed his cute power! I put him on two chairs with a tilam on the chairs. As that time he still doesn't know how to turn his body, so it was still ok, but of course, i still look at him la. When we having our dinner, he 'scream' himself 'happily', as wanted us to carry him. Of course, we tak layan him, coz cannot let him get use to it, else everytime he made noise, then we have to carry him!
After I finished my dinner, then I took video for him. You will sure enjoy! ;p Oh, pls be focus when the video is 1 minute...cute thing will happen ;p he get 'choke' by his saliva...hahahaha....

Yeah, this is a cute video of JQ...we taken this when JQ was just few day after his one year old birthday. JQ's grandpa and grandma gave a treat to relatives, as they won 4D :)
I feed JQ in the restaurant, and he liked so hungry, kept on saying mum-mum...haha...and he scream very loud. And, after you watch the movie, you will agree that I am a mother who like to bully her son ;p and, this is just part of my 'bully' evidence... ;p

JQ admitted hospital - Part II
yeah....i prefer to talk about happy things of JQ...
As i said in previous post, JQ is a famous kid in hospital...JQ was the only child that will walk around, others kid just rest in the room.
Although JQ having fever, but he still quite active. I did bring him walked around. When he saw nurses, i asked him to say hi to nurse, and showed the nurses 'ke ai' post (cute post), handsome post (like 007), and said bye bye when we wanted to go back to room....Gosh, JQ is so cute. Those heard JQ said bye bye before, will not object me if i said JQ is super cute when he said bye bye....those nurses love him so much, kept on saying JQ is so cute! Of course la, JQ is my son wor....akakkakaaka... ;p
And, as nurse needed to inject medicine (antibiotics) thru JQ hand, thus when JQ admitted hospital, they put on 'needle' on JQ left hand, and wrapped his hand with a soft board and taped properly, so that JQ will not open and get hurt. Will post photo next time. When we in the hospital, i will ask JQ where is his Oo-Ooo, then we will show me his hand and said 'Neh...'. Haha, as no more pain, so he think that the Oo-Ooo is fun ;p when my mother and in-laws came to visit him, he will show his Oo-Ooo to them, and said 'Oo-Ooo'. Haha...super cute!!
There is a playground in the hospital. JQ loves to go there to play. The playground open from 10am to 5pm. At night or in the morning, when the playground not opened, JQ will use his hand to push the door, made the E-E sound (sound that come out when we used energy to push something), then looked at me and said 'Boh...' sadly when he not managed to push the door. Haha....then i will tell him that the playground only open from 10am to 5pm, so have to wait the nurse open the door then only can play. Then, he will reply me 'Den' (means wait in mandarin), and his hand will show the 'Den' post....Fuh-yoh, super cute...
Awal Muharram was closed to Christmas, thus the hospital did put on those Christmas decoration at the nurses counter. JQ loved them! Why, coz there were a lot of 'ball'.....JQ loved to use his 'wrapped' hand to touch the balls, and also bells. He will tell me those is ball or long-long (means bell) when he touched them. As he not tall enough that time, he actually have to 'dian jiao' (hmm...suddenly forgot a proper words in English ;p means to stand only using his toes, so that can make him higher)........why my son so cute??
Oh, when JQ admitted hospital, it was a final round of a dancing competition 'Mou-Ngek-Han' (in cantonese). And, the sponsor of this competition was Gatsby. JQ loved the Gatsby advertisement's song. He will dance when he heard the song. Can you imagine JQ dancing when his hand is wrapped?? So cute! will post video next time, but should be a bit small, coz using my handphone to record. Oh, everytime we take video with JQ, then he will not do what we wanted to record, naughty boy.... ;)

At night, the nurse will come in to check his temperature, as needed to record every two hours. And, he had to take medicine every four hours to control his temperature. The most 'disturb' part was he will have bad dream...pity boy!
Actually i also quite 'pity', coz i woke up more frequent then him. When the nurse came in to check temperature, i wake up, when JQ had to take medicine, i wake up, when the nurse came in to ask me what JQ eaten or drank, i wake up, when JQ had bad dream, i wake up, and i had to wake up almost every hour to check JQ temperature, coz afraid he fever before the nurse came checked on him every two hours...but, i willing to do it, as JQ is my lovely son! :) actually this part remind me on my mother, as i admitted hospital before too...my mother brought me 3times to clinic before sent me to hospital, coz i having asthma...
okie, end of the story... :) i hope no more 'hospital' story in future...

When the nurse came in to check temperature, i wake up, when JQ had to take medicine, i wake up, when the nurse came in to ask me what JQ eaten or drank, i wake up, when JQ had bad dream, i wake up, and i had to wake up almost every hour to check JQ temperature, coz afraid he fever before the nurse came checked on him every two hours...but, i willing to do it, as JQ is my lovely son! :) actually this part remind me on my mother, as i admitted hospital before too...my mother brought me 3times to clinic before sent me to hospital, coz i having asthma...
okie, end of the story... :) i hope no more 'hospital' story in future...
JQ admitted hospital Awal Muharram year 2009 - Part 1
hmm....since last post regarding JQ admitted hospital, then i continued another story about JQ in hospital...
Last year (year 2009), JQ having fever 2 days before awal Muharram. Cannot remember what date d...
When i back from work, i felt that something wrong with JQ, so i asked Kelvin to bring him to clinic, although when we checked temperature, only 37+, just light fever. But i knew JQ going to have high fever soon, coz i can 'read' his sick face...
Before we see doctor, JQ looked very sick but he still very active, and played in the clinic happily. I kept checking temperature with him, as afraid he going to have high fever, as his face really look different from usual. After awhile, he not that active anymore, i thought maybe he too tired after playing or really going to sick again...pity boy...
Then after doctor checked him, doctor said that JQ actually very hot in the body, but we not managed to check his temperature outside! And, must let JQ drank medicine immediately, and continued to give every 4hours. Luckily, we brought him to clinic, else, i don't know what could happened....
At night, JQ really high fever, 39 degree Celcius! Sounds very high? Yes, very high, especially when JQ only 1.5 years old that time. Actually everytime JQ had fever, his temperature will shoot up to 39 Celcius! Really frightening...Previous record was 39.2 degree Celcius! I Know, this is not a good record....
Anyway, the temperature was under control after we put in the fever medicine in his buttock...
The next day, i still went to work. His fever was under control.
At night, as usual, JQ slept about 10m+. About 11pm, we woke him up and let JQ had medicine. That time, his temperature was about 38+. Then at 12am, means Awal Muharram Day, i put in the fever medicine in his buttock (i asked doctor before, he said if fever not going down after the fluid medicine, can put in the medicine in buttock, luckily i asked...), and continue to mop his body. The fever still not going down till another 30minutes, the temperature remained around 38.5 Celcius. We thought that the temperature will go down so, we take a nap around 1am
In the midnight, we kept on woke up to check on JQ. When almost 5am, JQ fever still cannot go down, and back to 39 Celcius...we not dare to give any medicine, as afraid overdose. So, we quickly packed JQ stuff as we decided to bring JQ to Gleneagles...
Inside the car, my tears came out non-stop....so worried! JQ face looked really very very sick....pity boy! When we reached hospital about 6am, luckily no one in the Emergency, so JQ can see doctor immediately....this time, he broke his own record....39.4 degree celcius! Again, not a good record....
Doctor decided to let him admitted hospital, as his fever for too long and cannot go down...
So, the nurse helped JQ to put 'needle' on his left hand, as they need to inject medicine thru his hand. Oh my godness....a small little baby had to suffer this. Of course, JQ cried like mad! I also crying when they put the needle on JQ hands. Sakit hati ler.....I hold JQ, i kept on comfort him, but still he cried loudly...this is for sure, else i lagi worried...
Then, after that, i carried him, tried to calm him down, and told him his hand Oo-Ooo (will post photo next time)....then, he said his hand Oo-Ooo sadly...haha, although he said this is crying tune, but i felt very funny. He really very cute when he said Oo-Ooo...
then, the nurse transferred him to the room. As no more twin and single room, so we stayed Junior suite, which is Rm330/night...luckily insurance covered RM200/night. Wah, so many kids fall sick, till the rooms full...
JQ still fever when doctor came to check him around 11am. His fever kept around 38.5 celcius, till the afternoon about 4pm. Luckily JQ still looked active....i kept on checking temperature on JQ.
ok, worried part was over....next story, i will tell you the funny JQ in hospital....he was a famous boy in hospital.... :) coz u know, JQ is super cute....ok, to be continued...
oh, one more thing before i ended...the nurse almost gave JQ extra medicine! In the second day we stayed in Gleneagle (JQ stayed 3 days. First day is Awal Muharram, a Friday, then discarged on Sunday), about 7pm, i took bath, so Kelvin looked after JQ. Then the nurse came in to let JQ took antibiotics. Then, asked my husband to let JQ had the liquid fever medicine. But Kelvin didn't give, as i told Kelvin before i took bath that the nurse will give the antibiotic about 7pm, and no more others medicine, coz taken around 5pm d.
Luckily i told Kelvin and did remember JQ's medicine taking time....when i came out, Kelvin told me the nurse asked to give the fever medicine, i quickly went out to check with the nurse, and found out that the previous nurse did not record down the medicine after given to JQ, if I did not take note on JQ medicine taking time, JQ will take double medicine...so, to all mothers...becareful even you go to expensive hospital, must record down when your kids taking medicine....don't depends on others....

JQ fell down on 28 March 2010
Yes, JQ fell down. I think quite normal that a kid fell down. But this time, he fell down till have to admit hospital for 24hours observation, coz he vomitted blood. Sound serious? Hmm....yes for me. Anyway, that time, i know that he will be ok, but of course, will still worried la ...
As i told my colleague in skype on this 'story' before, so i copied and pasted....hehe...lazy to type...
Oh, i did not put my colleague name here, in case she doesn't like it :) i had changed the conversation a bit, to make it more clear... :) so, this is not 100% same as the original conversation :)

I kept moving him, to make sure he just fall asleep, not faint...)

Since that day, he cried and not allowed me to go anywhere. Even i went toilet also he wanted to follow. He will called Mama in crying tune & face, then ran to the toilet to look for me. Poor boy, must really being frighten.
So, as i predicted that he will cry non-stop if i went to work on Wednesday ( i EL on Mon and Tue to accompany him in hospital and checking), so i had to talk to him. Previously, he sometime will cry too, but normally just for a while, and will stop after Kakak play with him. Since he fell down, i really talked to him again and again on Tuesday, to let him understand that i am going to work on Wed. Below our conversation:
Me : JQ, Mama going to work tomorrow, can or not?
JQ : Mai ah
Me : Yao la, Mama need to work. Mama play with you after work, ok?
JQ : Mai ah
Me : JQ 'you mei you guai'? (JQ is good boy or not?)
JQ : You ah
Me : then JQ have to listen to Mama. Mama play with you after Mama back from work,ok?
JQ : Yao ah.
Me : Mama promised (then i hook his finger, as promised)
A magic sentense to JQ is "Jia Qing you mei you guai?". He will listen to you then. But if he didn't answer you 'you ah', then he will not listen to you. So, must make sure he answer you.
The next day, when i went to work. I repeated the same conversation with him. He didn't cry, but his face very very sad, and almost crying. Then he said 'bye bye' with crying voice to me. I really felt like don't want to go to work then....this repeated for few days....his grandma asked him where is Mama, he will say Zuo-Gong (working), and totally no mood to play....
Then when i reached home, he really very happy.... :)

JQ and Movie
Yes, although JQ only 22months now, but he had watched 3 movies!
1st movie, we brought him to watch Da Ri Zi （大日子）, the first 100% Made in Malaysia's Chinese Movie. That time, he was only 19months old! Hehe...we actually already had mentally prepared that he will make noise half way (half way we think he very give face d), surprisingly, he can finish the whole movie. Of course, when the movie showing those love love part, he not interested, then he got made some noise la, but still ok. At least he not asking me to walk-walk...i think because the movie had lion dance. Oops, sorry, is tiger dance....
2nd movie, we watched Coi San Dou (财神到 in Cantonese), acted by Alan Tam and Yong-Chin-Wah. Before we watched, i already told Kelvin that JQ sure cannot stand on this film! Coz the movie had nothing to attract him. But since this movie was to watch together with JQ's grandpa and grandma, so i think we shall let JQ a try. Another reason was i didn't really keen on this movie, so if JQ didn't want to watch, i can bring him walked around ;p
So, when the movie started, less than 15minutes, JQ really sudah beh-tahan. He started to make noise. Then, i had to change seat (the cinema not full). But after a while, he made noise again, then end up, i had to bring him to walk-walk outside the cinema. Then, after some time, i brought him back to the cinema, coz i was tiring to chase at him ;p but he made noise in less than 5 minutes. So, i brought him out again. This time, i brought him to the playground below the cinema floor (we watched in 1U). Not really playground, but with the machine that can insert coin then it will move. JQ loves the machine, so he played till the movie almost end. Then, I brought him back to the cinema. Oh, i didn't insert any coin in the machine, as JQ will scare if the machine is moving. So, i didn't spend any money there...the most important, my pocket is empty, as my wallet was with Kelvin....
Third movie is How You Train Your Dragon, which is a cartoon. We watched on 14 April 2010. This will be JQ last movie, till he is above 3 years old. Why? Coz he did not have the patient till the end of the movie. Anyway, this time, it was still better than the second movie. At least, i still can finish the whole movie.
For this third movie, initially, he was quite excited, coz it is a cartoon. He laughed very loud, till we have to stop him. And, he so happy that he can eat popcorn. Then, i changed our seat to front, then told him the jie-jie next to us scolded him, then only he kept quiet a bit. And, i had to repeat and repeat, to remind him that the jie jie will scold him, then only he can totally shut up ;p When the movie end, he clapped his hand happily, coz finally he can walk around....

JQ's Langauge
JQ consider knows a lot of words now, and he can understand what we said when he is about 6months.
He is so cute that almost all his words or sentences are ended with ‘ah’, which has no meaning. I think it is because of me. Coz my ‘style’of talking with kids, will end with ‘ah ah ah’ too. Sorry la, JQ. But it is cute :p Anyway, I am correcting him slowly now.
Ok, this topic is just to write some words that speak by JQ, that created for him or by him, which I think is cute :) Oh, we speaking Mandarin with JQ, so you have to read the below in Mandarin pronunciation :)
BiBi (first tune in mandarin) – before JQ’s name is confirmed, and when he in my tummy, I called him BiBi.
GotGot – water
Ball Ball - JQ loves ball very much! This is the first word that he can speak correctly everytime (when he started to learn to speak), even better than MaMa and PaPa.
Book Book- JQ likes book too. He can pronounce this accurately too
BagBag – his bag (when JQ’s grandma heard this for the first time, she thought JQ talking dirty words ;p)
BearBear or BearBearXiong (when he growth up) – his bear (toy). Do you see that? JQ speak most of the words started with "B" sound, when he started to learn to speak....
Moo-sik – music
Yao ah – want (he always say this words. I like to hear he say this, the way he say and his expression very cute!)
Mai (Hokkien) – don’t want. The way he say Mai when he is 'angry', super cute! He will turn his head to one side 'powerfully', and say Mai loudly. haha...that's why i like to make him 'angry' ;p
Boh (Hokkien) – no more. If he say this when something he likes gone, then he will say this with crying tune, and his hand will show the 'no more' act, then say 'Boh' sadly. Oh gosh, your heart will melted and feel very sad too. And, he looks very cute when saying this! haha...that's why i like to make him say 'boh'
You ah – have. The way he 'ah' very cute! Tried to correct him, but still he end with 'ah'....
WalkWalk ah – he wants to walk
KaiKai ah – means go shopping or go out
An ah – means ask us to switch on something for him. For example, radio, TV, computer…
Die Dao (mandarin please, not Die in English ;p) – fall down. He says very accurate for these words in Mandarin, since he fell down on 28 March 2010. Will tell the story next time
Po-Coco-Yo – this is a carton that shown every Mon-Fri 7am. JQ likes this cartoon. The cartoon is Pocoyo. But JQ will call it CocoYo. When I correct him to say PoCoYo, then he will say Po-CoCo-Yo. Correct him again and again, he still say Po-Coco-Yo. Haha…so cute! Oh, today, he knows how to say PoCoYo's friend name, Ally, when he saw Ally in the TV :)
One…Two…Three – I will teach JQ to count 1-10. He will read it with long end tune. Besides, sometime he will ‘continue’ the counting for me. For example, I read Five, he suppose to follow me to say Five, but he will say Six, then I say Seven, and he will continue to say Eight….haha…very cute! And, he cannot say Seven correctly. Everytime when we read Seven, then he will make funny expression, and doesn’t want to say. Coz he knows we will luagh at him ;p Haha….Same as ABC, he cannot read F and H yet ;p
Yi-Po – means my husband mother's or my mother’s sister. When JQ is still small, about 1 year old, he went to his Yi-Po house in Johor (we called her Leng Yee). Then, as nothing much can do in Johor, so another Yi-Po of JQ (Wan Yee) taught JQ to call them Yi-Po. That time, JQ only can say same-tune words like MaMa, PaPa, MumMum etc. So, Wan Yee took some time to train JQ ;p and, his 'Yi-Po', is not very ‘fluent’, he will have to say Yi…Po , like speaking two different words. Very cute! Now he growth up, the Yi-Po can pronounce very fluent, not that cute anymore. Missed the way he said Yi-Po when he still small... ;)
Ah-Yi or Yi – means my sister. When JQ is still small, he called my sis Yi…the way he called my sis Yi, is like when we saw something dirty or disgusting, we will say Yi…hahaha! When he growth up, he called my sis Ah-Yi….still he will make the Yi sound very long….so cute!
Zen-Ban? - mean how? Suppose to be Zen-Me-Ban? But JQ will 'eat' the middle word. I teach him a lot of time, still cannot correct him yet. And, he will end the Zen-Ban with the "?" tune...so cute!
Na-Dao - actually mean can't get. Suppose to me Na-Bu-Dao, but he also had eaten the middle word, so become Na-Dao. Correct him, but still he can't pronounce the middle word yet. So, those that don't know JQ, will blur.... ;p
Haha….cannot think anymore. If still have, then maybe will write more later :) if can, will post the 'recording' of his sound here next time :)

JQ is Model
Since so many ‘words’ so, I better post some cute photo of JQ :)
My sister’s friend looking for model to take photo for the baby clothes that she selling. So, as Kelvin, my husband, is photographer, so my sister asked us to help her, of course the cute model will be our JQ :) so small already ‘work’, but FOC work ;p

JQ loves Music
JQ loves music. He normally listens to music inside the car.
Every time he enter someone car(normally the driver will be his grandpa or father), he will ask us to switch on the radio. He will say : Yeye, an @ Papa, an (in Mandarin, means Grandpa, press @ Papa, press).
If we pretend we didn’t hear that, then he will repeat and repeat, or his hand will start to press the button himself. Some time, he will switch on the button himself, once he enter the car. He knows which is the on button...
If the music is something he doesn’t like (eg Love song), he will hold my hand, point to the radio, and say : Mama, an! He wants me to change the song or CD….don’t know I should happy/laugh or not…
If he loves those songs, he can sit there and listen for very long time, without speaking a word, like very enjoy. And, if he knows those songs, he even will sing together! He like can remember the lyrics, of course using baby-tone la. Super cute! Can you imagine he can sing Oh-oh-ye-ye, I love you more than I can say?? He can sing this when he is about 20months old.
And, if the songs is those very hot or with rhythms, he will dance. His dancing really super cute. Will post his video, when i 'hardworking' enough to get from Kelvin. ;p
He loves those English and Mandarin classic song of his grandma and grandpa, he loves those classic music, he loves children song too. But he doesn’t like those modern love song at all. Every time, he will ask me to change song……
Oh, if he sits my mum’s car (old Kancil), where the radio is spoilt, he will tell me ‘Bor’, means he knows that my mum car has no music to listen. So funny! Then, he will say : Mama, chang! Means, he will ask me to sing. He will do the same if he hears some songs that he doesn’t like. When I sing, he will really listen to what I sing, he will sit quietly and listen to me.
Sometimes, he will even choose song….he will say Star, means to ask me to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars, or he will say Boy, means 10 Little Indian Boy. Lately, I sang two new songs to him. One is Lang Hua Yi Duo Duo (a song in a Movie with Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng, filmed in Redang), so he will ask me to sing La La, coz the song started with Lalala…and, the other song is a children song, I don’t know the song name, but the lyric is with the word Ding Dang (means bell), so he will say Ding Dang when he wants to hear that song.
Sometimes, when he asked me to sing, I will ask him whether want to hear La La, or others song name, then he will say ‘Yao ah’ (means want). He likes to end his sentence or words with ‘ah ah ah’, this will be another topic later ;)
Oh, he likes to play Organ and Drum too. He so cutes :) Again, will post the video, if i am hardworking enough. ;p
Don’t know next time he would still loves music or not :) hope he will, then I can send him to piano class, to ‘compensate’ what I missed in my childhood ;p anyway, if he doesn’t like, I won’t force him too la....

Birthday means Mother’s Suffering Day
I start my JQ’s story from this...
One beautiful day in June 2008, was my due date, means a date when I supposed to deliver my baby. But I have no signal at all. I had started to on leave 1 week ago, coz Kelvin and my mum worry that I will deliver baby any time, so not allow me to work.
Doctor asked to go to clinic for checking on my due date. As I was not allowed to drive, so after I taken my breakfast, I waited my mum to come to fetch me to the clinic. My mum was not free in the morning, so she fetched me about 12pm, and we decided after checking then only we went for our lunch.
After checking, Doctor said my placenta already mature, should deliver baby as soon as possible, else afraid my baby will ‘shit’ in my body, then will be dangerous. And then, he checked my vaginal, wah, already opened 4 inches, but I didn’t feel anything at all! So, doctor suggested to ‘cui shang’ (in Cantonese, or to inject some medicine, so that I will deliver baby immediately) immediately or can wait till the next day.
So, I called Kelvin. He said : what to wait, deliver now la. So, he immediately informed his superior and came to accompany me. Before he arrived, the nurse helped me to put some medicine on my buttock, so that I can shit. Haha, else, I may shit when I ‘push to hard’ during my delivery of baby ;p then, I wore the cloth to get ready, and Kelvin also arrived.
The nurse helped me to inject the Cui Shang medicine. Then I asked the nurse, normally have to wait for how long, then only I can deliver my baby. The nurse said depends on people, but she think I can be very fast. I still hadn’t had my lunch yet, and started to feel hungry, but the nurse said cannot eat, coz afraid I will vomit if too pain, so she just made me a small cup of Milo.
FYI, Cui Shang will be more pain than normal labor pain, coz the pain will be very strong. And, my friend also injected Cui Shang medicine before, and she still cannot deliver baby for about 10hours+, end up still need to do surgery. Means she pain for more than 10hours, but still need to surgery, ‘wasted’ the pain….
After about 30minutes, I started to feel the pain. Gosh, really not play-play. Very pain. But I still can stand on it. The nurse came to check my vaginal from time to time to see how much it’s opened. I forgot how much it should opened, but only till certain size, then only doctor will come.
The wave of pain will come, and you will feel super pain, then it will gone, and you will have to wait for the next wave….Really pain, till I have to close my eyes to ‘against’ or ‘concentrate’ to the pain, so that I will be more ‘comfortable’…..haha, cannot think of suitable word…
When doctor came, huh, really big pain. And, I actually wanted to bite Kelvin, he so lucky that he saw my ‘intention’ and quickly kept his hand away, but he still holding my hand as support.
I actually almost lost conscious due to the pain! After few tried, I still not managed to push out my baby, coz I had no more energy (remembered I said I hadn’t taken my lunch?). So, doctor told me that I must try very hard, if this last push cannot, then he may have to do surgery, coz afraid will danger my baby. When I heard that it will danger my baby, I immediately ‘awake’ and really used all my energy for my last push, and doctor used vacuum to help me to vacuum out my baby.
Finally, my baby ‘come out’ ;p he cried very loud when doctor beat his buttock. I had no more energy, but still I looked to the direction where they brought him to clean up. And, just like those drama, the nurse came and told me that he is a boy :)
Then, the most ‘geli’ part was came…the doctor needed to sew my private part. Huh….i tell you, I still feel ‘geli’ when I think of it. A lot of people said, after you delivered baby, you will have no feeling when doctor sew your private part. BUT, I really cannot stand it! I think I can stand for the labor pain, but not this! Coz for labor pain, we can know when the pain come, so you can ‘against’ it. But this, huh, really depends on the doctor, you cannot predict! So, I really yell on this!
I really agreed that Birthday means to Mother’s Suffering Day! I already consider very lucky that I did not pain for a very long hours.
Then, they brought me to the room to rest, while they clean and check my baby. And, when I reached the room, I really very sleepy. Then I slept. After a while, I woke up, and they pushed my baby to my room. Really feel like wanted to cry, and I thinking, why he looks like Kelvin only?? Then I told Kelvin, if I told you this is not your son, you also won’t believe.
I felt so hang-fuk (Happy) when I carried my new born baby :) Actually now I still feel very hang-fuk when I carry JQ :)
